Cat O’Donovan

Trustee

Cat is a sustainability, strategy and corporate finance specialist who has worked across the private and not-for-profit sector in Europe, Africa and Australia. She started her career in audit and is a Chartered Accountant.

Cat’s passion for nature developed early on, captivated by family trips to the zoo and David Attenborough documentaries… To satisfy her interests as a teenager, she volunteered at local wildlife agencies, before pursuing degrees in natural sciences and science communication.

As an adult, Cat has volunteered across a wide range of causes she cares about – including setting up science activities in schools in Ghana, creating events for the British Science Festival, and volunteering at a South African Ultra Marathon. She’s excited to use her time going forwards to support Helping Rhinos in its initiatives to preserve this iconic mammal.
