Eyes in the Sky combines technological innovation and aerial surveillance with rapid response to protect vulnerable adult rhino populations and enable safe corridors of movement at critical windows of opportunity.
Poaching syndicates are adapting constantly, routes shift, tactics change and technologies evolve. But with your support we’re evolving too.
Between 12 noon (BST) on Wednesday 22nd April until 12 noon on Wednesday 29th April 2026 your donations will be matched and your impact doubled.
DOUBLE your DONATION via Big GiveEyes in the Sky integrates aerial monitoring, intelligence analysis, and rapid ground deployment to:
- Detect emerging threats before escalation
- Pilot and survey abnormal movement patterns
- Mobilise rangers and veterinary teams immediately
- Stabilise injured rhinos when incidents occur
Protection works when it moves faster than threat.
In the Eastern Cape, this adaptive system has helped rhinos thrive and reduced poaching in key Rhino Strongholds to zero.
We aim to raise £20,000 for Eyes in the Sky immediate mobilisation and specialist stabilisation response and double our impact on the ground.
Your Donation Matched
£50 = £100 Supports real time intelligence analysis and ground coordination.
£150 = £300 Funds emergency veterinary consumables for rapid stabilisation.
£1,000 = £2,000 Supports pilot hours and rapid deployment when elevated risk is detected.
£3,000 = £6,000 Deploys adaptable monitoring technologies such as watchtowers, drone capacity and LoRa systems; preventing protection patterns from becoming predictable.
How It Works
Helping Rhinos has secured £10,000 pledged matched funding from the Big Give. To take full advantage of this pledge we must raise £10,000 in one week to expand our successful Eyes in the Sky programme and double our impact on the ground.
Donations can be matched between midday BST on 22nd April and midday BST on Wednesday 29th April.
Donations must be made through the Big Give Platform to be matched.
