Ladies Serve for a Cause at Annual Charity Tennis Tournament

On Tuesday, 9 September, the local community will came together for a day of tennis, camaraderie, and fundraising at the annual Helping Rhinos Ladies Charity Tennis Tournament.

Organised by local philanthropist Annabel Wilson, the tournament brings together local ladies to raise funds for Helping Rhinos, a charity dedicated to protecting rhinos from poaching and habitat loss. With rhinos among the most endangered animals in the world, events like this directly support their survival.

Competitors took part in matches across multiple private courts, adding to the lively atmosphere. While the worthy winners, Claire Bovill & Susannah Morrogh earn trophies and bragging rights, every participant contributes to protecting endangered species.

Local businesses and volunteers provided refreshments and stalls, making the tournament a true community event.

As a local distiller and long-standing supporter of rhino conservation, Urban Rhino is proud to raise a glass and support this fantastic ladies tennis tournament in Goring.
