Tweed was born on a private game reserve in the heart of Zululand, South Africa. Tweed was three months old when his mum was shot by poachers. She wasn’t instantly killed by the poacher’s bullet and did her best to survive, but in the end, she lost her fight for survival and so Tweed was rescued and taken to the orphanage.
